iDeas Design recently started a new project with a local chemical company to update their P&ID drawings and also produce HAC (Hazard Area Classification) drawings for the active parts of the site.
A Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) study is done to evaluate and assess the different areas of plant based on the presence of Flammable material within the facilities. The HAC study provides the details of Hazardous and Non-hazardous areas in the facility. The work has involved surveying and measuring the site and producing drawings to the HAC study carried out previously.
The work is likely to take a couple of months.
